(2021-2022)

Two workshops with Greek storyteller, Stella Kassimati. The first 'Shiva & Dionysos' was a weekend workshop exploring the powers of Shiva and Dionysos - Gods of love & ecstasy with deep links to the natural world across two great mythic traditions - India and Greek.

The second weekend workshop, called ‘The Power of the Divine’, explored divinity, power and the relationship of the divine to the human world through Indian and Greek myths with female divinities - Ahalya from the Indian myths & Thetis from Greek mythology. Their stories are found only in fragments. What can we learn from excavating and recovering the stories of the fragmented feminine divinities?
